With the aim of being the first successful pyromusicalinternational competition in the Philippines, the 1st PIPC OpeningPresentation will be held on February 14, 2010 (Sunday)
Experts Explode Into Town 2010 Line up released
Someof the best fireworks experts in the world have visited Southportahead of one of the most spectacular events on the town's calendar.
Theseven competitors were in the resort to visit the town, meet judges and learnabout the rules and regulations of the championship. They also toured thelaunch site to help prepare the designs for their incredible displays in sixmonths time.
Setin Kings Gardens from October 1-3, the annualchampionships are being held for the 12th time in the resort. Thousands of people are expected to attendthe spectacle which lights the skies of Southportover three consecutive evenings.
The2010 line up includes Flashpoint Fireworks (who return to defend their 2009crown), Pendragon Fireworks, Pyro 2000, Anytime Fireworks, Pyrotex Fireworx,Ashdown Fireworks and Fantastic Fireworks (2008 Champions).
